Do You Know What Causes Bad Breath?

Bad breath, also known as halitosis, may go far beyond a tinge of garlic or onions. Like other types of body odour (the aroma of sweaty feet, for instance), many forms of halitosis are the handiwork of bacteria. Bad breath can generally be managed with self-care. Bad breath also can be a sign of underlying health problems. Bad breath (also known as halitosis) is breath containing an unpleasant odor. This odor can strike periodically or be persistent, depending on the cause.
Bad breath tends to be noticed by other people first, and it may be difficult for them to tell you that you have it without embarrassing them or you. You may therefore have to rely on a close friend or family member to tell you that you have bad breath.
Listerine, actual gives you bad breath. It kills off ALL the bacteria in the mouth, including the good ones. Lick the back of your hand and smell it. If it stinks, that’s what your breath smells like.
Lick your wrist, wait about five seconds while the saliva dries somewhat, and then smell it. What do you think?
Bacteria in the oral cavity are designed to stay there, actually. They can get to other parts of the body and cause more serious diseases. Bacteria, just like humans, go through their lives consuming foods and excreting wastes. The waste products produced by some oral bacteria are sulfur compounds and it is this type of odoriferous waste product that usually lies at the root of a person’s breath problems.
